Senior Embedded Engineer
Singapore
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Embedded Engineer with expertise in hardware/software integration. This role requires defining system architecture, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliable communication between devices, sensors, and controllers in a distributed IoT environment. The Senior Embedded Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing firmware, enhancing hardware-software integration, and leading critical R&D initiatives to maintain and advance our market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware in C/C++
Define and implement scalable, modular embedded architectures
Integrate IoT communication stacks (WiFi, BLE, ZigBee, Modbus, TCP/IP)
Optimize microcontroller performance (RAM, FLASH, CPU utilization)
Implement secure communication and device authentication mechanisms
Conduct advanced debugging and validation using oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers
Lead R&D initiatives to drive innovation and product enhancement
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end product solutions
Evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen product capabilities
What You’ll Bring
10+ years of embedded systems development experience
Strong expertise in C/C++ on ARM-based microcontrollers
Hands-on experience with embedded RTOS (bootloaders, interrupts, preemption, task scheduling)
Deep understanding of IoT communication protocols (Bluetooth, WiFi, ZigBee, Modbus, Ethernet)
Experience with low-level I/O interfaces (I2C, SPI, SDIO, USB)
Strong architectural design capability for modular, reusable embedded software
Experience debugging embedded systems using industry-standard toolchains
Solid understanding of embedded security and cryptography
Experience working in Agile development environments

Senior QA Manager
Dubai
We are seeking a highly experienced and quality-driven QA leader to own the end-to-end quality of our embedded and IoT solutions. This role requires defining and executing QA strategy, ensuring robust testing frameworks, and maintaining the highest standards of functionality, performance, and reliability across INTEREL’s products and services.
The role will play a pivotal part in building and leading a growing team of Embedded QA Engineers, collaborating with external QA partners, and driving test automation and process excellence. Reporting directly to the CTO, the position will act as the gatekeeper for quality, safeguarding product integrity while supporting scalable and efficient product development.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience: 7+ years in QA/Testing roles, with at least 2 years in a management or team-lead capacity ideally in a start up environment
Proven experience in embedded systems testing with a strong focus on automation
Hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and using QA automation frameworks
Relevant experience in applying automation to improve efficiency, coverage, and reliability
Demonstrated experience in embedded communication protocols
Demonstrated experience in cloud connected products
Demonstrated accountability for QA deliverables, team performance and release quality
Experience working in Agile/ Scrum environments with cross-functional teams
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Startup mindset, adaptable and happy to roll up their sleeves when needed
Basic coding skills in Python or JavaScript
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus
